Eye Color Analysis

Short bio
Ana de Armas was born and raised in Cuba and grew up in Santa Cruz del Norte. Her maternal grandparents were Spanish immigrants to Cuba (from regions in northern Spain), and her family background and early life in Cuba are often noted in profiles of the actress.
She moved to Madrid at age 18 to pursue acting and later relocated to Los Angeles as her Hollywood career expanded.
De Armas began acting in Cuban and Spanish film and television before breaking into English-language cinema. Notable roles include Joi in Blade Runner 2049, Marta Cabrera in Knives Out, Paloma in No Time to Die, and her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in Blonde.
Her eyes are widely described as green with a brown central ring — a pattern consistent with central heterochromia (a different colour or ring around the pupil, with a different colour toward the outer iris). Many photo closeups and profile notes describe the irises as primarily green while showing a distinct brown area near the pupil and small brown spots.
Because lighting, makeup, hair colour and photographic processing change how an iris looks, Ana’s eyes can sometimes read as hazel, greener, or more brown in different photos — but the concentric (central) brown ring around a green iris is a repeatedly observed detail.
